Phillip Davey has been in legal practice since 1981 and his experience includes
extensive periods as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
Between 1981 and 1996 Phillip practised in Sydney as a commercial lawyer providing services to a range of clients including a number of publicly listed companies. In 1992 he gained Accreditation as a Specialist in Property Law and acted on behalf of a number of banks and finance companies, including St George Bank, ANZ, Bank of South Australia, Suncorp Metway and Esanda, in the areas of construction finance, leasing and insolvency.

In the last 10 years Phillip has practised in Canberra offering specialised Family
Law, Estate Planning and Succession Planning advice to high net worth clients. Phillip
utilises his commercial law background to provide clients with advice in relation
to complex property matters, business structures, corporate governance, stakeholder
agreements and risk management.
Phillip is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a member of the National Law Council Collaborative Law Group. He is Deputy Chair of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM). He holds a Master of Laws, majoring in Dispute Resolution. He is an Accredited Family Law Specialist.
